The village’s train station is on the Yellow Train line, which connects Villefranche du Conflent (and Perpignan) with La Tour de Querol (and Toulouse or Barcelona). Yellow train passengers should advise the conductor that they want to get off at the Planès station, as it is an optional stop for all trains.

Important note: The train station is located in the middle of the forest, at the end of a dirt road, and is not accessible by car. Planès is a 20 minute walk up the steep valley trail from the train line. If you plan to come by train and to walk to the Orri, we highly reccommend that you bring a backpack instead of a suitcase!

For those who don’t want to walk, it’s possible to get off at the Mont Louis/La Cabanasse train station and to take a taxi to the Orri (5 km).
