As guests at the Orri, we invite
you to participate in our efforts to reduce the environmental impact
of our inn through a series of very simple actions:

| Work with us to reduce our energy needs by. | |
| • | Remembering to turn off all lights
when you leave your bedroom or bathroom. |
| • | Limiting the use of personal appliances
that consume lots of electricity to a minimum (electric hair dryers
and the like). |
| • | Wearing a sweater in the house
and using an extra blanket on your bed if you are cold blooded (we keep
the thermostat at 19 degrees). |
| • | Limiting the time you spend under
the hot shower (5 minutes is more than enough to leave you feeling clean
and refreshed). |
| Help us limit water consumption by. | |
| • | Not letting faucets run unnecessarily. |
| • | Turning off the water while soaping
up in the shower. |
| • | Not asking for unnecessary changes
of plates between courses during the meal service. |
| Help us limit the volume of trash we produce by. | |
| • | Collaborating in our effort to
separate and recycle (recycling bins are located in the dishwashing
area of the kitchen and in the courtyard or the garage, depending on
the season). |
| • | Appreciating the value of the
food we put on the table (serving yourself as much as you like, but
not taking more than you can eat). |
| Help us limit environmental pollution by. | |
| • | Exploring the beauty of the natural
setting immediately around the Orri (and thus letting your car rest
for at least one day during your stay!). |
| • | Not leaving any trash in the outdoors. |
| • | Not smoking inside the house. |
| • | Keeping noise levels down (and
thus respecting the silence of nature). |
